Three Worlds in One: Preset Libraries

Midnite Expanded offers two primary preset libraries, each a world of creativity. “Midnite Core” provides 80 diverse presets across genres, while “Midnite Overdrive” accentuates distort sounds and pulses with 40 presets. But it does not stop there, as an expanded version exclusive, this version also contains the “Lo-fi Realm” preset pack.

Choose your look with 3 skins that bring the “Midnite” experience to life: the classic “Midnight Core,” the futuristic “Poly Drive,” (inspired by Polyscape) and the neon-light-inspired “Night Drive.”

Behind the Sounds of Midnite

Midnite’s sound sources were created in collaboration with UK-based Italian composer and sound designer, Alessandro Mastroianni (BBC Radio 4, Prodigal, Red Winter and more) from Sonora Cinematic.

Expanded version exclusive: Lo-fi Realm

Dive into the world of lo-fi with our “Lo-fi Realm” preset expansion pack. This set is carefully crafted with a focus on lo-fi hip-hop sounds, offering 40 finely-tuned presets. This collection encompasses pads, keys, leads, bass and more.

Expanded version exclusive: Custom Aesthetics

This version of Midnite comes with two exclusive instrument skins: “Vintage Navy” with American walnut housing, reminiscent of classic craftsmanship and “Desert Night”, featuring a contemporary gradient with a psychedelic touch. Both designed by Dani Karanyi exclusively for Midnite Expanded.

Install Guide

1; Download:

Download the required files and save them to a designated folder, e.g., Desktop.

2; Plugin Placement:

Put the plugin to the default vst/au/aax folder set in your DAW. By default these are the following:

VST:

MAC: Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3/
WIN: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\

AU:
MAC: Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/

AAX:
MAC: /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins

3; Plugin Initialization:

Launch DAW, run Midnite. When prompted, locate Midnite_Samples.hr1 from the folder you used in Step 1. Install samples to your preferred directory.

4; Close:

Shut down the Midnite plugin.

5; Sub Oscillator File:

Copy WT Evolver.hwt to:
MAC: /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Karanyi Sounds/Midnite/AudioFiles
WIN: C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\Karanyi Sounds\Midnite\AudioFiles\

6; Serial Activation:
Reopen Midnite. Input serial number found in your karanyisounds.com account.
